CEUSA tours are scheduled for 5-7 days.  The pricing for each tour includes tour orientation, ground transportation, hotel accommodations with dual or quad occupancy, two daily meals (excluding outbound and return days), entertainment fees, entrance fees to local museums and exhibits, travel packets, educational materials, personal tour guides, licensed, certified, and trained chaperones, a CEUSA tour administrator, and security personnel.  The overall cost of a specialty trip varies depending on the length and nature of the tour.  However, the average per person rate for a regularly scheduled season tour is $700-$900. Scheduled tours for 2009 are as follows:

Tour 1 - Northeast - Southeast (Feb. 13th -19th), (Apr. 10th – 16th) & (Apr. 17th -23rd)

            This 6 day/5 night tour originates in Boston, Massachusetts with pick up stops in Hartford, Connecticut, and Manhattan, New York.  The February college tour visits Howard, Hampton, North Carolina Central, Virginia State, Virginia Union, & Morgan State.  The April college tour visits Morehouse, Spelman, Clark Atlanta, Tuskegee, Johnson C. Smith, North Carolina A & T, & Virginia State. Two cultural enrichment/entertainment sites and/or museum exhibits are scheduled for these tours. Price: $900 (quad) $1100 (dual)

Tour 2 – Midwest – Southeast (April 3rd – April 9th)

            This 6 day/5 night tour originates in Chicago, Illinois with pick up stops in Gary and Indianapolis, Indiana.  College visits include Kentucky State University, Tennessee State University, Fisk University, Tuskegee University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Clark Atlanta University.  Three cultural enrichment/entertainment sites and/or museum exhibits are scheduled for this tour.  Price: $750 (quad) $950 (dual)

Tour 3 – Southwest – Southeast (March 14th – March 20th)

            This 6 day/5 night tour originates in Houston, Texas.  College visits include Xavier University, Dillard University, Florida A & M University, Tuskegee University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University.  Three cultural enrichment/entertainment sites and/or museum exhibits are scheduled for this tour. 

Price: $700 (quad) $900 (dual)

Tour 4 – Southeast – Northeast (April 3rd – April 9th)

            This 6day/5night tour originates in Atlanta, Georgia.  College visits include Howard University, Virginia State University, Hampton University, North Carolina A&T, Central University, & Johnson C. Smith University.  Three cultural enrichment/entertainment sites and/or museum exhibits are included on this tour. 

Price: $700 (quad) $900 (dual)   

Tour 5 - Graduate & Professional – Northeast (March 3rd – March 9th)

            This 7 day/ 6 night graduate & professional school tour originates in Atlanta, Georgia and is framed to help interested college students establish direct contact with select graduate/professional school programs.  This tour affords college students an opportunity to network with students on the same or similar career paths while visiting various graduate university campuses.  Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the graduate school admissions and interview process, identify sources of graduate school funding, establish contact with current graduate school students, faculty, and staff while getting ready for the transition to “higher learning.”  University visits include Hampton University, Howard University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Columbia University, New York University, Yale University, Brown University, Harvard University, Boston University, Northeastern University, M.I.T., and Dartmouth University.  Two cultural enrichment/entertainment outings are scheduled for this tour.  Price: $800 (dual occupancy only)

Tour 6 – Graduate & Professional – Midwest (T.B.A.)

Tour 7 – HBCU -Civil Rights Exploration (April 17th – 23rd)

            This 6 day/ 5 night tour originates in Boston, Massachusetts and makes one pick- up stop in Harlem, New York. Several colleges are visited on this tour.  However, in addition to college visits, the tour is a special adventure that includes visits to four of the following sites: Wax Museum, Estate of Fredrick Douglass, National Civil Rights Museum, King Center for Non-Violent Social Change, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta University Center, Herndon Home, Civil Rights Institute, 16th St. Baptist Church, Rosa Parks Museum, Booker T. Washington’s Home, the George Washington Carver Museum, and the Underground Railroad Museum  Price: $850 (quad) $1050 (dual)

Tour 8 – The College Fund/UNCF (July)

            This 7 day/6 night tour originates in Washington, D.C. and is designed for those interested in a highlight of public historically black colleges and universities that hold membership affiliation with The College Fund.  This tour runs once a year during the 2nd week of July.  Price: $700 (quad) $900 (dual)

Tour 9 - Thurgood Marshall (July) 

            This 7 day / 6 night tour originates in New York, New York and is designed for those interested in a highlight of public historically black colleges and universities that hold membership affiliation with the Thurgood Marshall Fund.  This tour runs once a year during the 4th week of July.  Price: $700 (quad) $900 (dual)

Specialty Tour

            Groups of forty or more are invited to have CEUSA design and coordinate their desired college tour.  Specialty tours take place only during the summer months of July & August, and fall months of October & November.  Call a CEUSA representative at (800) 715-9985 for assistance with scheduling a specialty tour.
